ALMA LÚCIDA
ALMA LÚCIDA was a collaborative short-film project created as part of my video production coursework.
The film follows a professor who taps into a student’s soul to reveal her darkest fears.
The project was directed and produced by José Castillo, a multi-Emmy Award-winning videographer and director, and gave our class the opportunity to experience a full-scale film production in a hands-on environment. Working as part of the production team allowed me to collaborate with other students while gaining experience across multiple stages of the filmmaking process.

I contributed to various aspects of the project throughout pre-production and filming, assisting with on-set responsibilities and working alongside José and the rest of the crew to execute his creative vision. I was involved in the production process through filming, but not the final editing.
I also appeared in the film as a member of the cast, giving me the opportunity to experience the project from both sides of the camera.

WCTC Esports Promotional Video
As a class, we collaborated to create a professional interview setup at the WCTC Esports Center, taking turns interviewing team members and capturing B-roll. I then independently edited the footage and combined the interview and B-roll assets into a promotional video for WCTC Esports to use on their website and social media.
ISO Practice: Walworth County Fair
Created as an ISO practice exercise focused on understanding how ISO affects exposure, image quality, and overall camera settings in different lighting environments. I chose to document a day at the Walworth County Fair, adjusting my camera settings throughout the day to capture a variety of indoor, outdoor, and changing lighting conditions.
Alumni Baseball Game
Created to practice and apply a variety of camera shot types and compositions learned in class. Using a storyboard developed before filming, I planned and captured a range of shots throughout my brother’s alumni baseball game, focusing on creating visual variety while telling the story of the game.
Young Professionals Social Media Promo
To promote their new song, “Young Professionals,” Moonglow asked me to create a promotional video inspired by the movie Office Space. I handled all aspects of the video production, from filming through editing.
Video Production Class Promo
Our class was tasked with creating short promotional videos for the new Video Production program at WCTC, developing our own narratives and creative approaches. We took turns interviewing one another and capturing B-roll, then independently edited our footage into short-form videos for the school to use across its social media.
